Also, Apple uses thread locker (the red, green or blue stuff around the screws) to hold them in place and prevent vibration from undoing them. By opening op the Mac, you'll destroy the thread locker, which means that from time to time, you'll need to flip over your Mac and make sure all the screws are tight. Don't over tighten the screws and remember to check on them every 6 months or so. Or put some thread locker.
I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch unibody (mid 2009). I need to replace my hard drive and I misplaced the hard drive mounting screws and the bottom case screws. Does anyone know where I can buy a set of mounting screws that go on the hard drive (the ones that I need a t6 torx for). I have found the bottom case screws online on ifixit but i cant seem to find the ones for the hard drive.

There is a super helpful schematic diagram of the mid-2010 server but the doesn't have a schematic but they're close enough so the schematic is helpful to identify the right parts. With all this said, I still think purchasing the ifixit kit is worth it just because ifixit rules and provides an awesome service to us all! I wish that kit was cheaper and without the tools though!
